Job Overview
The post holder will audit calls taken by the CAS team within our Emergency Operations Centre to ensure high standards of quality and safety when directing patients to care pathways. The post holder will also deliver training to members of the CAS and Agile Services Team including for both onboarding with CAD, MTS and Lowcode as well as any additional training required to support CPD to develop staff or as a result of finding trends within audit where more education is required.
Main Responsibilities
* Quality assure clinical assessments of the CAS and agile services team.
* Assist with the identification of trends of lower compliance or areas required for development on an individual and team level.
* Training of new CAS/Agile Services team members with the CAD, MTS and lowcode software and telephone triage.
* Deliver role-specific training that has been identified using the data from the quality assurance process.
* Assist with mentoring of new staff members or support when additional mentoring is required of existing staff.
* At times of high demand, there will be an expectation to assist with clinical assessing patients in the live environment.

Qualifications
* Essential: Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Allied Health Professional
* Desirable: Post registrations clinical qualifications, Training qualification
Skills & Knowledge
* Essential: Clear verbal and written communication skills, Commitment to CPD, Articulate and consistent in approach to work, Ability to use own initiative
Experience
* Essential: Currently working as a health care professional, Clinical Triage experience, Experience in secondary triage audit reporting, Adequate, demonstrable post registration experience
* Desirable: Underpinning knowledge of the changing nature of ambulance targets, Understanding the role of EOC
