The Role
We are seeking an exceptional Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team and craft unforgettable culinary experiences. In this prestigious role, you will oversee the creation of innovative and visually stunning pastries, desserts, and baked goods that reflect our dedication to excellence and creativity.
As Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and inspiring the pastry team to achieve the highest standards in taste, presentation, and innovation.
- Designing and executing seasonal menus that reflect the Sutton Hotel Collection's commitment to quality and creativity.
- Maintaining consistency and excellence in all pastry and dessert offerings across the hotel’s restaurants, banquets, and events.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, including inventory, ordering, and cost control.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and allergen management protocols.
- Training, mentoring, and developing team members, fostering a positive and professional environment.
- Collaborating with the Executive Chef and other departments to deliver a cohesive dining experience.
- Monitoring and adapting to industry trends, ensuring our offerings remain cutting-edge and competitive.
