We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Health care Training Manager to deliver training to our lovely care staff. You will be responsible for training all care staff, including the design and delivery of training and will play a key role in supporting compliance within the service, contribute to continuous improvement plans and the overarching business plan. Salary for this role ranges from £28,000 - £32,000 per annum Working hours for this role is 40 hours per week. You will provide high quality training for all new care professionals, ensuring they attain the relevant level of competence to deliver their personal and professional attitudes, skills and abilities required for their role. You will be providing training for the largest Domiciliary care company in the Northwest, offering ample room for career advancement as the company continues to expand. • You will utilise a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs. • Plan and facilitate weekly induction programmes for new cohorts of staff, ensuring the office can process new starters effectively and efficiently to support services. • Prepare course materials and ensure these are maintained and kept up to date in line with current legislation and good practice guidance, including specialist subject areas where appropriate. • Deliver additional refresher training to existing staff members as and when required. Deliver planned training using a variety of methods to actively engage staff including face to face, remote training and online training to maximise attendance. • Mentor staff who may find training challenging, to enable them to achieve their potential to support retention. Experience of delivering learning/training solutions within the Health & Social Care sector Experience of adult social care and the qualifications pertaining to the sec Thorough knowledge and understanding of CQC standards within area of social care setting. Teaching qualification PGCE, or equivalent Experience of coordinating training for groups/individuals with different learning styles. · Excellent organisational, communication, written, oral and numeracy skills.
