About the Company: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven Head Chef to join a leading healthcare provider in one of their beautiful nursing homes in Bridport, Devon. The role is working for one the UK largest care home providers specialising in elderly care, including residential, nursing, dementia, and specialist services. We are looking for a motivated Head Chef to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
About the role; You will be working as a Head Chef managing the kitchen team to ensure that the residents are provided with healthy, varied and nutritious meals. The role also involves utilising your budget efficiently, managing food stock and liaising with central support teams on nutrition standards compliance. Above everything else, the role of Head Chef ensures that the residents wellbeing is at the heart of everything and you are providing meals that the residents will love.
Who we are looking for; All applicants for the role of Head Chef must meet the following criteria;
Head Chef with an S/NVQ2 in Catering & Hospitality or Professional Cookery Full eligibility to live / work in the UK A minimum Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate Good understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points Driven and positive energy Excellent communication skills Organised Benefits:
