The Opportunity
This is a critical role for our business functions across the globe. You will be responsible for providing support to the data strategy through improving extraction, load and transformation areas, and for managing relationships with external developers, consultants and internal stakeholders. You will also assist business decisions by driving improvements in data analysis.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
1. Explore and extract data from multiple sources and interrogate this data to create meaningful insights.
2. Generate large databases from various sources of structured and unstructured data.
3. Analyse data and generate statistical information to identify trends and patterns.
4. Provide user support services to ensure problems are remediated quickly and effectively.
5. Ensure all internal data models are structured in line with our current business process framework.
6. Gather and validate development requests from the business and update the business on data improvements.
7. Create and manage project plans based upon agreed development work and ensure delivery in line with agreed timescales.
8. Develop, execute, and document user test plans ensuring that any modifications are robustly tested and accepted by the user group prior to going live.
9. Assist in the development of the BI strategy to ensure that BI capabilities match the long-term strategic aims of the business.
10. Responsible for own personal health & safety.

11. Excellent planning, analytical, organisational, project management and decision making skills
12. Able to understand and analyse complex data sets
13. Excellent prioritisation and time management abilities
14. Excellent knowledge of English (verbal and in writing)
15. Able to form relationships with wide range of people and strong team player with collaboration skills on an international level
16. Significant experience of Business Intelligence systems, including maintenance and development of these systems
17. Knowledge of Power BI or BI software
18. Strong knowledge of and experience with databases and structured query language (SQL)
19. Knowledge of working with an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, or a related product
20. Relevant degree or similar
21. Willing to travel globally and domestically as required
Desirable
22. Experience of working in a manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical Company
23. Project Management Qualification
