Job Description: Sales and Partnership Role at The Farewell Guide
Position Overview:
The Farewell Guide is a leading online platform that specializes in preserving and sharing personal legacies, memories, and arranging funerals. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team in the Sales and Partnership role. This position will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base to support our mission to become the no 1 funeral site in the UK.
This role could be part-time or full-time for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Revenue Generation:
o Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
o Identify potential customers, such as Funeral Directors, Associations, Pre-paid funeral providers, and life insurance partners, and engage them in meaningful conversations about The Farewell Guide's services.
o Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations, both online and in person, to showcase the value and benefits of our platform.
o Proactively follow up on leads, inquiries, and sales opportunities to convert them into paying customers.
o Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies to optimize conversion rates and revenue generation.
2. Partnership Development:
o Identify and cultivate partnerships with relevant organizations, including funeral homes, estate planners, genealogy companies, and other relevant businesses.
o Collaborate with partners to develop mutually beneficial marketing and promotional initiatives that increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.
o Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, ensuring alignment with The Farewell Guide's goals and objectives.
o Manage and maintain relationships with existing partners, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for collaboration and expansion.
3. Networking and Outreach:
o Attend industry conferences, networking events, and relevant community gatherings to expand the organization's reach and establish connections with potential customers and partners.
o Act as a brand ambassador for The Farewell Guide, representing the company professionally and enthusiastically.
o Utilize various communication channels, such as social media, email marketing, and content creation, to raise awareness and engage with target audiences.
o Build and maintain a network of key influencers, thought leaders, and industry professionals to support business development and customer acquisition efforts.
4. Collaboration and Reporting:
o Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to provide customer feedback, market insights, and input on product enhancements.
o Provide regular reports and updates to the management team on sales activities, partnership progress, and performance against targets.
o Work closely with the customer support team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the sales and onboarding process.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in a technology-driven or online platform environment or funeral/insurance world.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong networking abilities with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while also being a team player.
* Familiarity with digital platforms, online marketing, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
* Passion to succeed and go the extra mile for the business and clients.
The role will have a healthy base dependent on experience and will also include target bonuses and commission.

Pay: £20,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
