Rate of Pay: £22.15 - £28.67 per Hour Summary: We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Service Desk Support Officer to provide high-quality first-line support to internal users. This role involves delivering telephone and desk-side support, resolving technical issues, and maintaining accurate records within the Marval call logging system. You'll be the first point of contact for IT support, ensuring incidents and service requests are handled efficiently and professionally to minimise downtime and disruption for the business. Responsibilities: Provide first-line telephone and desk-side support to end users across the organisation. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide range of hardware and software issues. Log all incidents and service requests in the Marval call management system, ensuring accurate and timely documentation. Escalate complex issues to second-line or specialist teams as necessary. Monitor and follow up on outstanding tickets to ensure timely resolution. Qualifications: Relevant IT qualification (e.g., CompTIA A, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent). GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths. Experience Required: Experience in an IT support or service desk role. Familiarity with call logging or IT ticketing systems (preferably Marval).
