The role
To deliver a wide range of catering services, supporting eight cafes, two kitchens, conferences, and various high-profile events.
Utilise your creative flair to develop menus and new products for students and staff.
Responsible for training and developing a team of chefs and kitchen assistants.
Lead all kitchen and production activities, ensuring quality and consistency.
Ensure control of kitchen costs by liaising and negotiating with suppliers.
Lead internal and external event catering, planning menus and functions ranging from 10-400 covers.
Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management, maintaining 5 star kitchens.
Supporting the opening and development of three new cafes in the New Year
The team
With a culture of collaboration and continuous learning you will receive support from the Senior operations team and catering administration.
This is an opportunity to work alongside a brigade of chefs and kitchen assistants as well as health and safety coordinators to ensure systems are in place in an organisation where staff development is a priority.
