Interim Group HR Director (12-Month FTC, Maternity Cover)
Our client, a leading investment technology firm, are seeking an experienced Group HR Director to join them on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, starting in January 2024. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a high-performing team during a period of exciting progress.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Interim HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business, ensuring continuity, and driving several important projects to completion, including:
* Leading the implementation of a new remuneration policy
* Steering the delivery of the new sustainability strategy and Material Risk Taker policy
* Overseeing an office move
* Providing support to the Head of L&D in delivering a new regulatory training framework across the group
* Embedding a new succession planning approach
* Representing HR on the Digital Workplace Programme Board
* Addressing changes in Employment Law and Employee Relations policy
* Managing the company's FCA Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) consultation response
Desired Skills and Experience
This is a hands-on leadership role, suited for an experienced HR professional with prior group-level experience, ideally as an interim HRD in regulated FS. You will need to demonstrate the ability to navigate Material Risk Taker (MRT) responsibilities, attend key ExCo meetings, and sit on the Nominations Committee and Remuneration Committee (RemCo).
You will be comfortable leading in a period of change, providing steady guidance, while also driving the successful delivery of key ongoing projects. Strong stakeholder management skills are a must, with a proven ability to influence at the senior leadership level.
