Your role: You will be a crucial part of our vibrant freight sales team. Your mission will be to drive our commercial growth by acquiring new business and maximising revenue opportunities while fostering strong relationships with both existing and potential clients. Establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations. Collaborating closely with operational teams to ensure efficient service delivery and proactively seeking additional loads. Conducting thorough analyses of business opportunities, addressing fluctuations in load counts, and maintaining the CRM system with up-to-date client information. Identifying market opportunities and potential threats to stay ahead in the industry. Providing regular updates to the Freight Sales Manager and Customs Team to ensure alignment and strategic planning. About you: We’re looking for a motivated Sales Executive with 2-3 years of proven sales experience in a transport or logistics role. You should possess a solid understanding of European transport, with operational department experience within a transport company considered a plus. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for building strong relationships, along with proficiency in MS Office Suite and accurate data input skills. Strong time-management and organisational capabilities, along with a logical mindset and excellent attention to detail, are crucial for success in this role. A-Levels or equivalent education, preferably with logistics-related studies, is preferred. The ability to work independently while also thriving in a team environment completes the ideal candidate profile. We offer: A salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience), working 40 hours per week.
