Main duties of the job Located in the Pathology department, the post holder will have operational oversight and autonomy for all Point of Care Testing (PoCT) and Rapid Respiratory Testing within the Trust. It is an overarching role facilitating the comprehensive management, compliance monitoring and reporting on all PoCT devices throughout Medway NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) in line with local and national accreditation, clinical governance and risk management requirements. The post holder will additionally manage the provision of the Rapid Respiratory Testing Service having oversight of the rapid testing laboratory (based in ED) and staff employed to provide the 24/7 service.
