Our public sector client is currently looking for a Training Manager to join their Technology and resources service area on a 12-month initial contract Our client is currently rolling out new NEC Housing system so is looking for a Training Manager who has experience creating training material and delivering training. Your main responsibilities will include: Delivering ICT Skills development training support both face to face, online and to members that include senior staff, individuals and in groups Support users at times and locations which best suit the roles and responsibilities of those needing the training and support (therefore travel between offices/ sites may be required) Identifying training opportunities where staff can be better supported by delivering their responsibilities by improved ICT skills. Developing training material on the intranet including video clips Produce user guides for the new Housing management system specific for each module and business area tailored for business processes and solution design. Set out a Train the Trainer approach Coordinate the training across the business teams Deliver the training on the new system The successful IT Trainer should have the following skills and experience: Strong communication skills and be comfortable training members with a varied skill set and varied levels of seniority Experience as a Training Manager in a similar role Be well organised and be able to think on your feet Be able to keep up with the changing world of technology/ Be able to keep up with the changes and translate them in an understandable way for others Someone who enjoys creating the training material not just delivering it and can hit the ground running Public sector/local authority experience Extensive knowledge of NEC Housing modules is required and experience of undertaking the responsibilities as above to a housing organisation.
