Our client, based in Banbury, is a highly successful, international supplier of capital equipment and due to growth, is currently looking for a Sales Executive to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The main responsibilities of this position are to generate sales enquiries within the UK & Ireland promoting the full range of machines and services.,
* Drive sales enquiries across the UK and Ireland, showcasing the full portfolio of machines and services.
* Prepare detailed costing sheets, offer letters, and presentation materials, while supporting the strategic aspects of projects including negotiations and commercial considerations.
* Schedule and conduct regular client meetings to explore potential opportunities and stimulate sales interest.
* Gather and analyse key information during the enquiry phase, such as production needs and site requirements, to further develop sales leads.
* Conduct preliminary surveying tasks, including measurements and basic sketching or AutoCAD drawings, to support technical teams.
* Assist in developing new sales tools, templates, and methods to ensure consistency in costings, proposals, customer documentation, and internal reporting.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and nurturing potential customer relationships.
* Participate in industry exhibitions to strengthen client connections and stay informed about competitor advancements.
The ideal candidate must hold a qualification or degree in mechanical engineering and a strong B2B sales background.
