Technical Sales Executive
Location: Swansea, Wales UK
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Full-time (Monday-Friday) 8.30am to 5pm
Reporting to: Sales & marketing Director
Overview:
Hardman Grey Recruitment are currently seeking a Technical Sales Executive
on behalf of our client.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving targeted, profitable sales growth and achieving agreed-upon objectives. A proactive approach to sales will be essential.
The Technical Sales Executive will be responsible for:
Meet and exceed sales targets while identifying new business opportunities.
Uphold the company’s brand reputation by adhering to corporate policies.
Promote the company’s products and value proposition across sectors.
Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the customer base.
Manage quotes via Salesforce CRM and ensure timely follow-ups.
Generate regular activity and performance reports.
Resolve customer complaints and provide actionable recommendations.
Collaborate across teams to ensure effective communication and support.
Support new sales initiatives and liaise with Finance on credit checks.
The ideal Technical Sales Executive candidate will have:
Understanding of customer buying patterns and market trends.
Ideally: Minimum 5 years in a Senior Sales role
Knowledge of inbound marketing and brand development.
Proactive, goal-oriented, and curious with excellent listening skills.
Technical expertise in chemical processing, water treatment, or heat pumps.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical abilities and a collaborative mindset.
