Hays have an exciting new role as a HR Generalist for a company based in Exeter.
:
* This is a full-time, on-site role where you will be responsible for implementing HR policies and providing a first-class generalist HR service to managers and employees. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a key role in supporting the business objectives of the department and the company.
Main Duties:
* Be a proactive member of the HR team, supporting the Head of HR as required
* Work collaboratively with managers to handle disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, and other HR procedures
* Ensure policies, procedures, and processes are applied consistently, fairly, and professionally in line with current legislation and company policy
* Oversee all aspects of HR administration, delegating tasks to the HR administrator as appropriate
* Liaise closely with and support the in-house recruitment team as needed
* Assist with ad hoc HR-related projects
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required:
* Minimum 1 year of experience supporting disciplinaries, sickness management, and grievances from investigation to outcome
* Thorough knowledge of UK employment law
* Extensive employee relations experience
* Experience providing operational advice on a range of employment matters to managers and employees
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
