We’re looking for a Cluster Meetings & Events Executive to join our team and play a crucial role in driving the meetings and events agenda. In this role, you will handle high-value enquiries, including product launches, team meetings, large conferences, social celebrations, and weddings, providing an exciting and varied workload within a dynamic close-knit team.
Reporting to the Cluster Meetings & Events Manager, your key objectives will include effectively handling enquiries, contracting event business, and ensuring strong product knowledge to execute a smooth customer journey from start to finish, including liaising on final details.
Key Responsibilities & Objectives:
1. Manage meeting, private event, and wedding enquiries.
2. Drive occupancy and revenue for the meeting spaces within the hotel.
3. Drive occupancy of bedrooms for MICE enquiries with groups attached.
4. Work according to the SOPs within the brand, ensuring adoption of best practices.
5. Ensure a high level of attention to detail when creating proposals and function sheets for the hotel's operation team.
6. Develop relationships and rapport with potential clients by adopting a consultative sales approach.
7. Ensure all deposits and final payments are received in a timely manner as per the brand SOP.
8. Confidently execute client site visits during their decision-making process.
9. Support the Cluster Meetings & Events Manager with any other ad-hoc tasks required.
