C&N Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Pastry Chef for a 4* Hotel based in St Albans. The hotel is rich with history, stunning grounds and is committed to providing exceptional service to its guests.
What We’re Looking For:
* At least 3 years of pastry experience (Demi Chef de Partie level considered)
* Creative skills in cake making, desserts, and afternoon tea preparation
* Passion for delivering high-quality pastry and a keen eye for detail
* Experience in managing breakfast pastry needs, preparing for afternoon tea, and producing hotel amenities.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
* Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
* Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
* Supporting the Events team in the execution and delivery of events and the opportunity to be creative
