Who are they?
A stunning 4 Star Manchester full service property, seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead their team and help shape the future of the hotel.
What will you get up to?
Oversee the daily operations of a hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, employee performance, and profitability. They lead departments such as front desk, food and beverage, Meetings and events and maintenance while implementing strategies to improve service and operational efficiency.
* Oversee day-to-day hotel operations including housekeeping, front office, food & beverage, and meeting and events.
* Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate department heads and staff. Foster a positive work culture.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance. Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability.
* Ensure guests receive top-tier service.
* Ensure the hotel complies with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
* Develop and execute strategies to increase occupancy rates, improve guest ratings, and maximise revenue.
* Work with the sales and marketing team to attract new business and maintain customer loyalty.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a senior hospitality role.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Business acumen with an understanding of financial planning and budgeting.
* Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., OPERA, Protel, or similar).
* Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
