Working within the Freight Forwarding sector in an expanding fast-paced company, which is a well-respected business within the industry, you will be given a golden opportunity to progress with a real career plan in place.
This company is looking to invest time and training into the new members of their team and support you on your career journey. You will learn about the freight forwarding industry and become an expert in your field.
About the role:
We are looking for confident, driven, and ambitious individuals, who are looking to build a career and thrive in a telephone-based role. Your main function will be to develop business by sourcing opportunities, making calls, and then, with assistance from your head of desk, closing the deal.
Full training will be given; we just need you to have a great attitude and a desire to succeed, coupled with some telephone-based experience. They want you to achieve and move up the ladder, providing all the necessary support to ensure you achieve this.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Communicating with in/outbound leads via multiple channels (phone, email, and social media).
2. Making new sales calls.
3. Learning how to calculate quotations.
4. Building a sales pipeline, tracking, and managing the complete sales process.
5. Gathering market and customer information.
6. Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy.

Skills and Experience required:
1. Previous experience within a targeted sales role would be ideal but is not essential.
2. Some telephone-based experience.
3. The ability and desire to sell with a positive, confident, and determined approach.
4. Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
5. Strong communication skills with strong business-related knowledge.
