Exciting new opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager to join our growing company, reporting directly to the Managing Director, to help us make the most of the talent we have within our business, and ensure we are onboarding the best new talent.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Managing all recruitment processes across the business.
* Building training plans for the whole workforce and agreeing delivery of these plans with line managers.
* Managing the on-boarding process for new starters.
* Responsible for creating and developing our talent strategy to fully meet the needs of the business.
* Drive a culture of continuous professional development, supporting personal development plans.
* Managing the company benefits package.
* Supporting line managers to deliver effective appraisals.
* Assisting line managers in monitoring sickness/absence cases along with delivery of disciplinary procedures if required.
* Provide the first point of contact between the business and its academic and training providers, taking responsibility for the administration.
* Build a STEM outreach program with local schools and colleges.
* Support the business to expand its diversity and inclusion objectives.
* Provide pastoral support to our Apprentices.
* Keeping up to date with the latest UK legislation.
What we are looking for:
* Experience with internal talent management.
* Experience of recruitment processes.
* A knowledge of HR procedures.
The successful candidate will have an outgoing personality, with an energetic and enthusiastic approach to dealing with staff, and helping them attain their potential.
The working hours of the role may be applicable to some part-time applicants; however, we would envisage a minimum of 30 hours, over 3 to 4 days per week. Usual business hours are daytime with occasional visits to interact with shift workers potentially required.
Salary pro-rata based on £40,000 per annum for full-time 37.5 hours per week.
The location of this position is based at Tewkesbury, M5 J9.
