Job: Sous Chef
Location: Rufford, Lancashire
Type: Full Time 40-45 hours per week.
Salary: Up to £38,000

I am working with a fantastic client supporting them in their search for a Sous Chef. I am looking to speak with candidates who are hands-on and have a solid background with high-quality fresh ingredients.
Ideal Sous Chef Profile:
* Experienced Sous Chef who is passionate about working with high quality, fresh, local ingredients.
* A hands-on leader who can effectively communicate, delegate, and manage the team.
* A background in quality fresh food kitchens.
* Must drive due to location.
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Head Chef and deputise in their absence.
* Menu development – be part of creating stunning seasonal menus & excellent specials.
* Manage, train and develop new and existing team members to a high standard.
* Stock control, order placing, supplier negotiation.
* Working within budgets to ensure profitability.
* Ensure that all hygiene and food safety is consistently adhered to.
* Collaborate with the rest of team ensuring seamless service & high-quality food is delivered to customers.
Please note due to location driving is essential.
