Job Role: Sous Chef Location: Coleraine Hours: Monday to Friday - 07:00am - 15:00pm Pay rate: £18 per hour Duration: 3 MONTH MIN Your role: Recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join a busy site catering for high volume using fresh ingredients. Based at the University of Ulster, this role offers a fantastic work life balance with Monday- Friday working only. Your responsibilities: To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards To support manager in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within a budget To be responsible for maintaining up to date product and menu knowledge To maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation, ensuring portion and quality control To comply with health and safety and food safety legislations You will have: Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Sous Chef NVQ or City & Guilds qualification or Equivalent Food Hygiene Certification Excellent communication skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment A passion for food & an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level Dress standard-Chef Whites / Chef Trousers / Knives / Chef Hat, neckerchief & apron / Kitchen Safety Shoes To apply for this role, please complete the form below by filling out your name and contact details, and attaching your CV.
