About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen of an intimate new opening French restaurant in the heart of Marylebone.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring excellence in every dish.
* Develop a dynamic and innovative menu rooted in French cuisine with modern twists.
* Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and taste.
* Train, mentor, and lead a small but passionate kitchen team.
* Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and cost controls to achieve financial targets.
* Uphold stringent health, safety, and hygiene standards.
* Collaborate with the restaurant’s management to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fine dining or bistronomy-style setting.
* Extensive expertise in classical French cooking techniques with a creative flair for innovation.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* A deep understanding of seasonal and high-quality ingredients.
