Main duties and responsibilities Ensure that the department provides a high level of customer service and meets the brand standard for all reservations. Take and manage all enquiries and reservations via telephone or email and input into hotels reservation system for hotel and spa. Process bookings from online travel agents ensuring all data is correct and cross checking information with hotel Channel Manager. Oversee the accuracy of room blocks and reservations, updating & chasing allocations & provisional bookings. Process rooming lists and group blocks and identify accounting details by arranging payment links and bill back facility. Be responsible for maximising revenue for the Spa through effective diary management and sales. Provide general support to office staff taking enquires, as well as the Golf Sales Executive to assist with leisure enquiries and golf bookings. Have full knowledge and understanding of all hotel rate plans and selling strategies. Ensure that communication procedures are effective and efficient on a day to day basis enabling housekeeping and operations to plan and deliver all customer service requirements. Co-ordinate constructively with both the Revenue Manager and the General Manager to complete all weekly and monthly occupancy and room forecasting. Establish, maintain and develop interactive customer / agent relations and to be aware of any possible future requirements. Support with initiative and commitment the overall objectives of the business in terms of revenues, costs and team work, whilst developing personal competency levels.
