The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, quality, and presentation. You will have the opportunity to shape the seasonal menu, mentor a talented kitchen team, and maintain a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, motivate, and manage the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
2. Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
3. Develop and update the menu with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
4. Manage kitchen inventory and ordering, keeping food costs within budget.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as cleanliness and hygiene standards.
6. Maintain strong communication with front-of-house staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-quality kitchen.
2. Passion for creating exceptional dishes with fresh, local ingredients.
3. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
