Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar & Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and food service, with excellent supervisory skills. This role requires a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a well-organised bar environment. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations during each shift in the absence of the Manager.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise daily bar & restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
2. Keep all areas fully stocked and organised to ensure speedy and efficient service.
3. Assist in the organisation of stock ensuring tidy store rooms.
4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
5. Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate food production and service during busy periods.
6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
1. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor in a busy hospitality environment, with an emphasis more on the fine dining service style.
2. Solid experience behind a café bar environment with the ability to transverse between the bar and floor in the busy times while keeping a level head.
3. Strong coffee knowledge (Barista Training will be provided).
4. Strong knowledge of drink production processes and food safety standards.
5. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
6. Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
