Are you experienced in selling DevOps and Cloud solutions and looking for your next opportunity? At Eficode, we’re looking for a talented salesperson / tech-enthusiast to join us as a GitHub & Microsoft Sales Executive to drive sales across the Anglosphere.
Role purpose
The GitHub & Microsoft Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our GitHub and Microsoft product offerings. This position demands a high level of expertise in commercial sales strategies, client relationship management, and a deep understanding of our technology partners. You’ll work closely with Account Managers on GitHub & Microsoft sales opportunities, maximise vendor relationships to leverage new logo wins, and be responsible for self-generated new business.
Your knowledge of GitHub, Microsoft products, and Eficode’s unique selling propositions (USPs) will be critical in providing commercial expertise throughout the sales process and resolving any customer concerns.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all GitHub-related activities across Eficode’s customer base. Your goal will be to increase the footprint and net revenue contribution of GitHub and Microsoft services, aligning with business expectations. This includes negotiating contracts, developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, and identifying cross-selling or upselling opportunities.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include (but won’t be limited to):
1. Act as the lead point of contact for GitHub across all Eficode customers, and successfully grow the GitHub/Microsoft footprint and net revenue contribution in-line with business expectations.
2. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
3. Foster strong relationships with GitHub and Microsoft for referral business and commercial understanding.
4. Help clients understand their Microsoft requirements whilst positioning Eficode as their Microsoft provider of choice.
5. Recognise where cross-selling or upselling is possible within accounts, along with being responsible for self-generated new business.
6. Negotiate contracts and quotations alongside other departments, and coordinate with other teams working on the same accounts to ensure consistent service.
7. Accurately forecast and track client account metrics where appropriate, and maintain accurate records within the CRM (Salesforce).
8. Liaise and collaborate with marketing teams to develop demand generation, lead identification programmes and cross sell opportunities - this includes account planning and mapping through platforms such as LinkedIn and ZoomInfo.
Success factors
You will make a great match for this role if you have:
1. Demonstrated experience working with, and selling, Microsoft products and services, including GitHub.
2. Deep knowledge of Microsoft App Innovation portfolio.
3. Utilisation of Microsoft Customer Engagement model and Microsoft Customer Incentives.
4. A proven track record in closing sales and achieving targets.
5. Successful experience within a customer focused sales environment.
6. Strong commercial/business sense.
7. Previous new business development experience.
8. Ability to become a trusted advisor for the clients and prospects you will be working with on a daily basis.
Desired Skills
It would be a bonus if you have:
1. Experience of working within a matrix organisation.
2. Working within a value added reseller, software, or software services organisation.
3. Salesforce CRM experience.
4. Understanding of products from Microsoft App Innovation portfolio, utilization of Microsoft Customer Engagement model and MCI program would be beneficial.
5. Experience in development with Azure Cloud and/or GitHub would be beneficial.

Location
This is a hybrid remote/office based position with 1-2 days per week on-site with partners plus regular travel to the Southampton office.
Salary
This position will offer an annual base salary of £60-80k (depending on experience) plus 30% variable bonus with uncapped earning potential.
