Are you a culinary artist with a passion for seafood and excellence?
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our quayside seafood restaurant, where fresh ingredients and innovative dishes are at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with the Head Chef to craft exquisite, seasonally inspired menus, with a passion to showcasing Island produce.
Manage kitchen operations, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Lead and inspire chefs, foster creativity and growth.
Ensure the presentation and flavour of each dish embraces the Boatyard reputation for quality, and exceed our guests' expectations.
Manage inventory and liaise with suppliers to source the finest seafood and produce.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role. Expertise in seafood preparation and an eye for culinary innovation.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Passion for sustainability and a commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
