Reporting to the Head of HR, the Director, Human Resources oversees the communication and administration of Human Resources (HR) programs including succession planning, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management across all locations. This leader is a mentor, strategic partner, and leader of change. The Director will lead a distributed team of HR professionals supporting Manufacturing locations as well as corporate teams in the UK, EMEA, Asia and Australia. Through their team, they will implement strategic initiatives, manage day-to-day activities, and support growing the business. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead organization and leadership development efforts, collaborating with leaders to address root causes of people related organization issues. Mentors HR managers to lead changes in assigned area(s). Review and coach organizational leaders and HR staff to resolve employee relations issues using a systematic approach. Resolve leadership level employee relation issues. Collaborate with corporate HR leadership on the development and execution of company-wide programs and initiatives identifying, prioritizing, and building organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes (e.g., annual review, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational change). Lead leaders in the development of solutions through cultural and process perspective organizational development. Lead and develop a globally dispersed team of HR professionals. Undertake the development and implementation of enterprise-wide initiatives. Oversee compliance programs, such as GDPR, across all countries in which we work. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the effective operation of the HR function. Collaborate on various HR programs such as benefits, compensation, recruiting, learning, and talent management activity within the organization. Performs other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field Eight (8) years of experience in Human Resources At least five (3) years leading a team Experience leading large-scale projects, change, and process improvement initiatives Experience supporting functions as well as manufacturing teams (or some other front-line workforce) Experience conducting investigations and supporting compliance programs Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and project management skill Experience working across countries in scope (EMEA, UK, Asia, Australia) Advanced knowledge and experience in employee relations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with excellent judgment and discretion Knowledge and understanding of various HR systems Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration Knowledge and understanding of Ceridian Dayforce SPHR or equivalent level of certification Bilingual (Spanish, French or German) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Actively supports and complies with Peli’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality and Safety, with an emphasis on continual improvement.
