We are looking for a new Learning & Development Manager to join our People Team!
Starting as one service in Featherstone in 1998, we are now a growing and forward-thinking organisation that strives to make a positive mark on the Health and Social Care sector. We operate services across the Yorkshire and Warwickshire area that specialise in supporting adults with learning disabilities, Autism and complex trauma on their journeys through life and in the community.
From transitioning from hospital to a safe new home, to fostering friendships and building skills, we offer a person-centred support, tailored to support individuals no matter their circumstances.

For this role, we will provide an annual salary of up to £40,000 plus many more great benefits!
What the role involves:
1. Lead on and develop our L&D plan, to ensure it aligns with Millennium’s goals, culture and business objectives.
2. Leadership development and design including development programmes and talent potential process, create development pathways to support Millennium's value ‘developing potential’.
3. Ensuring our L&D policies and procedures are compliant with CQC requirements.
4. Lead internal and external audit requirements in conjunction with our internal Q&C team, for L&D, to ensure our people are the best we can be.
5. Build a credible commercial offering to external networks, using our in-house trainers.
6. Own and lead the L&D workstream on any proposed growth opportunities.
7. Design and develop learning programmes, courses, workshops and learning materials using a variety of instructional techniques.
8. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs within the organisation.
9. Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the L&D field. Leverage learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, virtual training tools, and other digital resources to enhance the learning experience and accessibility.
10. Collaborate with department heads, managers, and HR to determine the specific training requirements for various job roles.
What we are looking for:
1. Someone who has a passion for developing the potential of others.
2. Able to role model and demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives, and culture of the organisation.
3. A CIPD Level 5 qualification in Learning & Development or equivalent qualification.
4. 3 years of experience in an L&D leadership role within the Health & Social Care sector.
5. Experience of working in a people-facing role within a Health and Social Care environment.
6. Ability to analyse learning needs and manage projects.
7. Someone who holds a full UK driving license.

This is a hybrid role that requires 2 days of work from any of our services or offices in Wakefield or Coventry.
