We are seeking talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our team based in the Lake District, 10 miles away from Penrith. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of food in the kitchen, ensuring that all locally sourced ingredients and dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Supporting the Head Chef and deputising in their absence will be second nature to you along with high standards and a passion for great food. You will have experience of working with fresh ingredients and be able to demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices) Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
