Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who has knowledge and experience of designing and delivering talent management interventions, mapping career pathways and managing apprenticeship schemes to a diverse multi-disciplinary staff population. The successful candidate will be able to manage large scale projects and will have excellent facilitation and presentation skills.
This role is offered as a permanent part-time appointment 0.7wte (26.25 hour per week) and partial remote working arrangements can be considered.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to Masters Level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience
* A sound practical knowledge and experience of different talent management approaches and the ability to innovate to develop programmes to fit both a local and ICS-wide collaborative approach.
* Practical knowledge and experience of apprenticeship schemes and of identifying and exploiting a range of talent pipelines.
* Experience of leading and managing a team.
* Cultural competence and the ability to apply this to their own work and the work of the team ensuring that equality, diversity and inclusion sits at the core of everyday practice.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels both within the Trust and across partners with the ICS.
* Highly skilled and confident communicator, able to write and present high quality Board level report, facilitate learning sessions and speak to large multidisciplinary groups of staff at events as required.
* It is not a requirement of this role for applicants to have experience of working within the NHS but they must demonstrate a general understanding of the NHS workforce strategies and in particular should be able to demonstrate clearly how their skills are transferable into a Healthcare setting.
* The post holder will have the breadth and depth of skill and knowledge to enable them to work confidently and independently within both their own specialism (talent and widening access) and more broadly as part of the senior management team.
