Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized person to join Vuba Surfaces as a Specifications Sales Executive. This key role focuses on developing relationships with Specifiers and Architects. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a pipeline of projects with clients, ensuring Vuba products are the first choice on Commercial and Residential projects, as well as promoting the benefits of using Vuba resin bound surfacing.
Duties
1. Deliver expected conversion rates on a select number of projects following a cradle to grave approach in collaboration with the wider sales team.
2. Liaise with all key stakeholders on new projects while documenting progress and activities on all personally assigned opportunities.
3. Effective and forward diary planning.
4. Manage Contractor terms and agreements, including regular reviews on levels and spend to justify terms.
5. Provide first line technical dialogue and information to your selected customer base.
6. Liaise with clients and handle objections.
7. Quickly deal with all incoming enquiries, providing excellent customer service to our customers.
8. Complete all reporting weekly on the CRM system.
9. Identify incremental growth opportunities.
10. Represent and support the business at various social and brand awareness events.
11. Provide site assistance and technical training.
12. Own the delivery and supply of your projects by supporting our operational departments.
Experience
1. An excellent knowledge of the Architects marketplace, with a proven track record of working on large scale commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
2. Capability to handle technical dialogue at all levels, with experience presenting to groups.
3. Ability to quickly become a technical specialist in resin bound surfacing products.
4. Excellent account management skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels.
5. An understanding of the project stages and decision-making process in commercial and residential construction.
6. A driving license is essential for this role due to travel requirements.
