Thymia is on a mission to make mental health as objectively measurable and monitorable as physical health. Using the latest advances in machine learning and neuropsychology we provide AI powered mental health assessments that identify mental illness and its underlying symptoms specifically, accurately and objectively.
thymia is on a growth path, backed by healthy VC funding and multi-million annual revenues. We are a dedicated team, passionate about making a positive impact in the mental health space.
The Role
At thymia we do not currently have a Data Engineering function and this is the first dedicated Data Engineering role at a startup that is scaling and maturing, with an opportunity to be extremely influential on how thymia does data. You will have a big impact on the business as we scale, supporting us by continuously improving on and maintaining a data setup that balances speed of innovation with extremely strong security and access controls to protect the very sensitive data that we hold.
We are interested in candidates with some experience behind them, who have already been there and done it when it comes to building out and delivering the overall Data setup, having played a significant role in creating and improving it, preferably in a startup environment.
Day to day you may work on Airflow DAGs, Postgres data migrations, shipping data from cloud provider to cloud provider, designing a Data Lake or Data Warehouse, or you might sit with someone who works in ML or Data Science and brainstorm options for a project we’re working on - and a whole lot more! This is a startup and flexibility and a broad interest in trying to help customers, help your colleagues, and help to grow the business is fundamental.
