Purpose of the Position
Sr. Manager of Training will be responsible for developing and administering Job level training for each role within Clinical Operations. They are also responsible for developing and administering Therapeutic area training for the studies.
Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
1. Developing and executing training programs and initiatives with minimal guidance. Develops training curricula for each Job role within clinical operations.
2. Developing and executing therapeutic area training working closely with the Medics to pull together the content.
3. Coordinating with Compliance, Medical and Regulatory to ensure accuracy of content and compliance with the content of training materials.
4. Managing vendors when developing training content and executing contract requirements.
5. Performing project management function during the development of training content.
6. Leading training meetings to include planning, logistics management, vendor monitoring, and participant conduct.
7. Influencing and leading without authority by collaborating with cross functional teams to provide highly effective, timely, innovative and relevant training solutions.
8. Collaborating with external partners to help provide best-in-class training deliverables.
9. Developing and maintaining facilitation skills expertise in support of training content delivery.
10. Continually assess the organization’s training needs for both clinical fluency and development competencies and provide appropriate feedback for innovation.

Knowledge & Experience
1. Requires minimum of a Bachelor’s Science Degree; Master’s Degree preferred.
2. 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience.
3. Training experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred.
4. Experience developing training tools to enable the enhancement of clinical acumen is a plus.
5. Knowledge of adult learning principles, training design concepts, and platforms is a plus.
6. Knowledge of ICH-GCP and all FDA/EMA Regulations.
