Requirements:
- We are looking for candidates with solid, recent experience in SQL & T-SQL programming, as well as SSIS for ETL processes. Familiarity with scripting languages such as C#, PowerShell, and/or Python is essential. You should have a strong background in Data Warehousing, with experience in designing, developing, and implementing Data Warehouse solutions, particularly focusing on data integration. Data mapping experience is necessary. While experience in the financial services sector is desirable, it is not mandatory. Additionally, familiarity with WhereScape Red is a plus, but definitely not essential.
Responsibilities:
- As a Data Engineer in our Data Warehousing team, your primary focus will be on uplifting and redeveloping our existing ETL processes to efficiently ingest source data from various systems. You will ensure the seamless integration of data into our unified data warehouse utilizing on-premises technologies, specifically working with T-SQL and SSIS. Your role will include performance optimization to maintain the flexibility and scalability of the data warehouse, as well as resolving issues that arise due to increasing data volumes and user demands. You will conduct extensive testing and validation of the ETL processes and the data warehouse performance while maintaining detailed technical documentation. Collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the business will also be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities.

We are a well-established wealth management firm experiencing continuous growth, and we are expanding our Data Warehousing team. We are currently seeking two Data Engineers to join us in a large Data Warehousing project aimed at uplifting and developing our existing data warehouse. This project will be a significant focus of your role among various other business initiatives.
In terms of salary, we offer a competitive range of £55k - £70k, along with a discretionary bonus. Our hybrid working model requires you to be in the office 2-3 days per week, accompanied by 25 days of annual leave, which increases by one day per year of service up to a maximum of 30 days.
