The Role We are looking for a Sous Chef to successfully deliver high quality food and service to all players and colleagues across Sobha Realty Training Ground; maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times. You will be responsible for all catering aspects from breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as vital pre match meals for our players. This includes arranging catering services for away days when teams are required to travel. Please note: this role will involve working flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Your day-to-day Champion excellent catering service - you will serve all three food outlets with safe preparation, ensuring the greatest of care is given considering portion control, temperature and cost with reference to correct staffing levels Collaborate with our Nutritionist - you’ll take pride and make yourself familiar with our daily menus, being aware of your responsibilities in accordance with the menu guidelines set out by our club Nutritionist Oversee health and safety process - you’ll attentively monitor the cleanliness of our kitchens and entire food chain, ensuring the kitchen functions are run in a safe and hygienic manner, in accordance with hygiene regulations and report any incidents to our Health and Safety department Monitor stock control efficiency - you will ensure accurate records are completed and that food is stored away in a safe, timely manner with effective stock rotation and storage commodities Take pride in presentation - you’ll comply with our uniform and grooming standards, enforcing high standards for food counters and food delivery across Sobha Realty Training Centre Promote compliance and legislation - you will uphold and comply with all statutory legislation as requested by our club and required by law as well as following all our policies and procedures Act with discretion and integrity - you'll be trusted to maintain complete confidentiality in relation to all information around our club, clients, colleagues and players What we are looking for Proven experience in a similar catering environment - you have substantial experience working as a Sous Chef, Head Chef or Chef De Partie in a high quality, high-pressured environment Credible expertise - you are a qualified chef to the level of NVQ 1& 2 or equivalent Passion for catering - you have a positive can-do attitude and show enthusiasm for food, creating a great team environment showing excellent communication skills Best-in-class organisational skills - you possess an excellent ability to multi-task and are able to work at pace without compromising quality Collaborative team player - you thrive when you're empowered to use your own initiative to help support your team and you're able to form impactful relationships with senior colleagues Knowledge of health and safety requirements - you're well versed in the latest health and safety legislation and keep yourself up to date in order to hold our club accountable to the highest standards Flexible and adaptable mindset - you will have a flexible attitude and are comfortable working unsocial hours when required, in order to make a key contribution to our success on and off the pitch Why choose us At Arsenal, we want everyone to feel a sense of trust and belonging, so we are proud of both our club values and also what we offer to our employees.
