Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an Executive Pastry Chef / Baker for a family owned and operated, multi-faceted visitor attraction in South Yorkshire.
The Catering, Food & Beverage operation comprises several restaurants, a number of seasonal retail catering outlets, an on-site bakery, on-site butchers and a central production kitchen that produces a range of fresh 'ready meals'.
We are therefore looking to recruit an experienced Executive Pastry Chef / Baker, who is able to demonstrate a stable and progressive, craft based background in Bakery & pastry production.
This is a senior appointment, and the successful candidate for the role of Executive Pastry Chef / Baker will report directly to the venue Head of Operations, and will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running and long term direction of the in-house bakery and pastry operation at the venue, including:
1. Introducing and developing new product lines
2. Scheduling of production
3. Leading and developing a team of 10 full-time staff
4. Management of all Health & Safety and Food Safety systems and procedures
