Sous Chef - Weymouth Seafront Hotel - Live In 8pm finish
Key Information:
1. Salary: £29,250.00
2. Hours: 6 days on a breakfast and dinner shift rota so 07:00-11:00 and then back in for 16:00-20:00 - Great chance to enjoy your afternoons and evenings in this role!! 45 hours a week
3. Location: Weymouth
4. Live-in option: Available
We are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to work in a seafront hotel in Weymouth. The hotel is very popular with coach parties and only serves breakfast and dinner. The role comes with live-in accommodation so you will be living by the sea. You will work 6 days per week working breakfast and then the dinner shift, 4 hours per shift.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to cooks and service staff
2. Producing and serving night shift dinner for 70/80 people
3. Completing general preparation for the next shift
4. General cleaning and stocking fridges and counter shelves
5. Duties include pot wash and dishwasher
6. Set up and service on the counter
7. Customer service
8. Storing food
Required Skills:
1. Experience in the kitchen
2. Basic knowledge of food production methods
3. Embrace new ideas and processes
4. Positive and approachable manner
To be successful, you'll need to have:
1. Experience working in a similar environment
2. Ability to follow instructions
3. High standards of hygiene
