Are you a talented and experienced recruitment professional looking for a rewarding and impactful role within the NHS?
We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Manager to join our team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals on a 6-month fixed-term basis, with the possibility of extension to cover parental leave. The post will commence on, or around, 1st May 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in our dynamic and friendly team while supporting one of the region's leading healthcare providers.

Responsibilities
As Recruitment Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for the Trust, ensuring a seamless and efficient service that attracts and retains the best talent in healthcare. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing the Recruitment Team to deliver a high-quality, responsive recruitment service.
* Collaborating with hiring managers to plan and implement effective recruitment campaigns across a variety of clinical and non-clinical roles.
* Ensuring compliance with employment law, NHS policies, and Trust procedures.
* Driving continuous improvement within the recruitment function, focusing on innovation and candidate experience.
* Developing strategies to support the Trust's goals around diversity, inclusion, and staff retention.
About You
We're looking for an experienced recruitment professional with:
* Proven experience in managing recruitment operations, ideally within a complex or public sector organisation.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Exceptional knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous NHS or healthcare recruitment experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
The post holder will lead the Recruitment Team. The post holder will lead on the delivery of a professional, comprehensive and efficient recruitment and retention service to the Trust, working in partnership with HR colleagues across the P&OD Directorate, in ensuring an operational service to address strategic and operational workforce issues against Trust targets and objectives.

* Substantial operational resourcing (recruitment experiences gained in a high volume, unionised environment).
* Experience of identifying areas of improvement in services or systems and implementing identified changes
* Experience of effective management of complex or highly sensitive matters regarding resourcing and retention, including the withdrawal of offers of employment
* Experience of leading, managing and motivating teams
* Understanding of current nursing workforce, supply and demand in the temporary staffing for bank, in-house agency and external nursing agencies
* A sound knowledge of employment law and recruitment best practice in relation to resourcing including pre-employment checks, DBS service, Asylum and Immigration Laws and the Equalities Act
