Software Sales Specialist New Business OTE £135,000 per annum Birmingham 3 Days On-Site An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Sales Specialist to join a leading IT company based in Birmingham. This is a permanent role offering a competitive base salary of £70,000, plus a £450 per month car allowance, and an impressive performance-based bonus scheme of up to £60,000 annually, bringing your OTE to nearly £135,000. This role requires a minimum of three days on-site per week. The Role As a Software Sales Specialist, youll be responsible for building and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with customers, driving growth through the sale of software licensing and asset management solutions. You will manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, working closely with branch teams to build a strong pipeline and exceed gross margin targets. Key Responsibilities: Achieve and exceed annual gross margin targets Build and execute a Territory Plan to maximize customer opportunities within your assigned region Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure and handover Qualify opportunities to focus efforts on deals with high likelihood of closure Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and position the companys offerings to win Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell other business unit services and solutions Construct optimal commercial terms to maximize revenue Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in software sales, particularly in Software Licensing and Software Asset Management solutions Strong track record of delivering sales growth and exceeding targets Experience in writing compelling responses to commercial sector tenders Ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders and clients Strong understanding of the competitive IT landscape and ability to differentiate offerings to customers Why Apply?
