Your role
As the Learning Designer at the CII, you will create high-quality digital learning content for qualifications, further learning, and corporate learning products. In partnership with the CII’s Local Institutes, PFS volunteers, and content owners, you will design and manage CPD courses and projects, ensuring adherence to digital learning and accessibility guidelines.
You will apply instructional design techniques to convert expert-authored content into engaging digital materials, sourcing or designing digital assets to enhance the learning experience. Building strong relationships across the organisation, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, interactive learning solutions.
Your role also involves validating content quality through robust assurance processes, supporting marketing efforts, and continuously improving learning content and processes. Staying updated on digital learning trends, you will identify future content development needs and contribute to the overall enhancement of our learning products and services.

* You are skilled at juggling multiple small projects or phases of larger projects, ensuring every deadline is met.
* You possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* You take a creative approach to work, constantly suggesting new ideas and processes, as well as overcoming barriers to quality service.
* You have a proven track record of designing and creating high quality online learning content.
* You are confident in editing and applying instructional design techniques to content from subject experts, with strong skills in Articulate Rise and other rapid authoring tools.
* Your flexible approach and positive attitude shine through, as your take ownership of your work and performance and embrace learning opportunities.
