Responsibilities: Create lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum for Key Stage 3 and 4 classes. Teaching drama in line with curriculum standards and preparing students for crucial exams. Supervising rehearsals and assisting with school plays or productions. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment with effective behavior management. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to staff meetings and administrative tasks. Organising and accompanying students on theatre trips or extracurricular activities related to drama. Support students' personal growth, encouraging independent research and teamwork. What we are looking for: Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage students. Creativity and enthusiasm to inspire a love for drama and performing arts. Excellent classroom management to maintain a safe and inclusive environment. Organizational skills to plan lessons and manage productions. In-depth knowledge of drama techniques, theatre history, and curriculum requirements. Experience in directing or participating in theatrical productions and working with young people will be preferable Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a solid background in drama or performing art will desirable.
