As Sous Chef, you'll be the Head Chef's go-to for support, leading and engaging the kitchen team to deliver 14 great shifts week in, week out.
Responsibilities
1. Leading shifts and ensuring the kitchen operates effectively and safely.
2. Managing stocks, Health & Safety, Hygiene, and passing quality standards.
3. Upholding 5-star kitchen standards and ensuring food is prepared and served on-spec and on-time.

What you'll bring
* Experience as a Sous Chef or a Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager looking to advance your career.
* Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong chef/kitchen skills (food prep, hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, hygiene).
* A proactive work ethic, leading from the front and delivering high standards as part of a high-performing team.
* Driven and relentless in overcoming challenges.
* Knowledge of KPIs and decision-making in the absence of the Head Chef regarding labour, stock, food safety, etc.
* Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders and build trust with Ops Chefs and Managers.
* Strong knowledge of rota scheduling, sales and labour forecasts, reporting, recruitment, HR, etc.
* Proven success in training and recruiting kitchen teams, including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs, and Sous Chefs.
