We are thrilled to be working with a charming, award-winning gastropub located in Devon. Their signature menu combines classic favourites with locally inspired dishes, and they are now looking for a Junior Sous Chef to bring fresh energy to their close-knit kitchen brigade.
You’ll be wondering what’s in it for you as a Junior Sous Chef:
* £32,000 per annum plus circa £2,160 service charge and a yearly bonus.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations.
2. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes.
3. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
4. Supervise and train junior kitchen staff.
5. Contribute to menu development and planning.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. Passion for food and cooking.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
