Junior Sous Chef £37,500K Outskirts of Brentwood Our client is a poplar Gastro Pub, serving some of the county’s finest food, and they are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef for their busy venue. Their kitchen is lead by a talented and creative Head Chef, and they currently hold accolades for their high end cuisine. They require a Junior Sous Chef who is passionate, dedicated and eager to learn, and as Junior Sous Chef you will be looking to move into a kitchen where you can learn all about flavours and textures, and modern cooking techniques. As Junior Sous Chef you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the kitchen & maintaining consistently high standards. You will also work with the Head Chef in menu development and daily specials. Ideally you will be at either Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef level with good experience in a rosette kitchen. You must be flexible to work on all sections as required and have the ability to train junior chefs on each section. As Junior Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head and Sous Chef, you must have good kitchen management skills and be committed to providing a high level of cuisine and service at all times. Prior experience in a similar environment is highly desirable.
