1. Head Chef
Meadow House, Swaffham
£14.50 per hour
30-36 hours per week (includes alternate weekends)
Healthcare Homes are recruiting for a Head Chef to work at Meadow House in Swaffham.
As our Head Chef, you will be taking the lead across our hospitality function, managing a team to deliver quality, nutritious meals for our 38 residents on a daily basis.
As well as preparing and cooking meals you will also liaise with our residents to create a menu that delivers family favourite dishes along with regular theme nights.
The successful candidate will have experience in working in a professional kitchen, have good organisational skills and be confident in menu planning, stock control and food ordering, keeping waste to a minimum at all times. A good approach to kitchen practices and food hygiene standards is essential. City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications are preferred but not essential as they can be provided through our Academy.

2. About Meadow House
Meadow house is located in Swaffham, Norfolk. We provide residential and nursing care for elderly people. We also have a young person’s disability unit that specialises in care for people with multiple sclerosis.
