Are you a culinary artist with a passion for seafood and excellence?
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our quayside seafood restaurant, where fresh ingredients and innovative dishes are at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Do:
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to craft exquisite, seasonally inspired menus, with a passion to showcasing Island produce.
* Manage kitchen operations, maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Lead and inspire chefs, foster creativity and growth.
* Ensure the presentation and flavour of each dish embraces the Boatyard reputation for quality, and exceed our guests' expectations.
* Manage inventory and liaise with suppliers to source the finest seafood and produce.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role. Expertise in seafood preparation and an eye for culinary innovation.
2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment. Passion for sustainability and a commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
