We are looking for a tenacious and motivated Sales Executive who thrives on customer interaction, relationship building and closing sales, but also has an eye towards problem solving, customer satisfaction and target achievement.
The position is within our Commercial & Defence Sales Team working in markets as diverse as Height Safety, Arboriculture, Film & Events, Agriculture, Heavy Lifting & Wind Energy.
Key responsibilities:
1. Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Use your expertise to identify potential clients and convert leads into loyal customers.
2. Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
3. Achieve Sales Targets: Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
4. Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with the customer service marketing and production teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
5. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market.
This position is crucial for achieving customer acquisition and sales growth goals. The successful applicant will have the following:
1. Excellent communication and presentation skills - telephone, email & in-person.
2. Enthusiastic, passionate, and proactive.
3. Ability to generate and build strong commercial relationships.
4. High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
5. Well organised with excellent administration and time planning skills.
6. Great attention to detail.
7. Clean driving license.
8. Computer literate with experience in MS Office.
9. The role is primarily office-based, working within an experienced and supportive sales and customer service team.
10. Willing and able to stay away from home when required - travel to visit customers and attend exhibitions is required, approximately 3 to 4 days per month.

3. Experience of CRM systems.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to manage time effectively.
6. Able and willing to spend occasional time out of the office.
Salary and Bonus:
Salary as detailed above. A quarterly bonus is paid in line with target achievement.
