Store Manager In Training (SMIT) Program
The SMIT role is a development-focused position designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager role. The program enhances your career as a future store leader through a self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, including virtual and hands-on learning experiences. You will be supported by your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach.
Key Skills Needed
* Effective verbal and written communication skills to support and lead your team.
* Ability to perform customer care duties providing high levels of service.
* Execution of merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
* Management of store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
Expectations for SMITs
* Engage actively with your leader during Key Learning Experiences to support your promotion path.
* Support store operations as a management team member, leading in alignment with CVS values and policies.
* Engage colleagues in supporting the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
* Willingness to accept promotion roles within the market.
Note: Selection for the SMIT position does not guarantee promotion to Store Manager. Promotion depends on performance, availability, and other factors.
Minimum Requirements
* Willingness to accept a Store Manager promotion at any location within the market.
* Ability to transfer within the market.
* Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
* High School diploma or GED.
* Bachelor's Degree preferred or relevant work experience considered in lieu.

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 45
Time Type: Full time
Pay Range: $18.50 - $26.25 per hour
The actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
